Myristyl Alcohol
Myristyl Alcohol is a straight-chain saturated fatty alcohol. It is a white crystalline solid that is virtually insoluble in water, soluble in diethyl ether, and slightly soluble in ethanol. It is produced from palm kernel oil and coconut oil. It may also be produced from petrochemical feedstocks.
