Propylene Glycol (1,2-Propanediol) is a versatile industrial solvent and intermediate used across a wide range of applications. In the paints, dyes, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and elastomers (CASE) industries, it functions as a solvent, humectant, and viscosity control agent, helping to improve flow, application properties, and formulation stability. Its miscibility with water and many polar organic solvents makes it well suited for waterborne coatings and dye formulations. Physical Properties
